My quick takeaways on the Anthropic S-1: 1. This is a historical moment 2. $6.6M in revenue per employee!! Hard to even comprehend how good that is but Anthropic is AI native as it gets so makes sense. 3. I always thought OpenAI would drop their S-1 first 4. Customers spend about 9x more after a year. Net Revenue Retention is approximately 900% as of Sep 30, 2026. Good SaaS companies brag about 120%. 5. Cowork is growing faster than Claude Code did. Goes to show you the demand for consumer products. Duo will probably rip. 6. 3 years ago this company did $41M in revenue. In the first six months of 2026, it did $16.3 billion. I don't think anyone has a mental model for that curve yet, I sure don’t. 7. Nearly half of revenue comes through cloud marketplaces. About 48% comes from customers buying through them. Big companies buy where their budget already lives, and the lesson for founders selling to enterprises is to get listed where your buyers already spend. 8. Their run rate fo…

I don't take money from any lab. I'm saying this impartially; the number of people on my feed over the last two weeks saying they are switching over to Anth because of Opus 5.5 is like nothing I've seen before. And even if someone does beat Opus, they have Fable 5.5 ready to go.
Amazing endorsement of X. This really is where you'll find the most optimistic, forward-looking people in tech.
the mathematicians pushing back on AI say that it might help with proofs, but not our HUMAN UNDERSTANDING of math. so I got curious how chess players think AI engines help them better understand chess. and found this clip of Magnus Carlsen: “the neural nets have improved our understanding of the game immensely.” watch his HUMILITY towards these engines: “it’s just that my understanding is not good enough. And that is useful.” “I rarely play against engines at all because they just make me feel so stupid and useless.”
Insane alpha for anyone worried about cybersecurity right now. The account is only days old, and is already doing insane numbers helping startups navigate this era. Call it now, this is gonna be one of the biggest new accounts over the next 12 months.
We're sorry for the rate limits and unnecessary quota consumption on the K3.1 Pro subscription plan. These were our issues, and we should have fixed them sooner. Today, every subscriber on every plan gets a one-time usage reset, restoring 25% of their monthly quota (usage below 25% resets to zero), equal to one week of usage. Your usage bar will reflect this adjustment by end of day PST. We've also adjusted the plan's parameters and are reducing unnecessary subagent calls and output length, so your quota goes further. Thank you for your patience while we put this right.
The complete reasoning-from-scratch video series is now up (and linked) here: magazine.sebastianraschka.com/p/building-rea… (Taking a short break but will be back with LLM model and research updates in November!)
It is somehow not surprising that a Reddit moderator has the most unemployed possible take on AI
The next great "language for agents" should be: - As fast as Rust - As little design space as Go - Have the strictest type/verification system ever written Bend seems like an interesting first effort
I ran this thread on a computer running Ubuntu. It ran an iOS simulator using a mac mini I had connected via T3 Code. This is the best iOS dev experience I've ever had.
There is an absolute barrage of inference providers popping up that get to $1M/mo extremely quickly. This is the rough economics of inference providers: Even if you rent on-demand B300s at $8/GPU-hr, many open source models (GLM 5.3, Kimi K3, DeepSeek 4.1 Flash / Pro) can get you >$10-20/GPU-hr at reasonable throughputs (100tok/s). DeepInfer from DeepSeek directly shows they can get $38/GPU-hr on off-peak hours. Every chip / model has a different throughput / interactivity curve, but there is a lot of arbitrage between even high rental spot prices and token prices. New chips (Vera Rubins) also change this meaningfully. Your ability to be making gross margin relies on your utilization and how good your stack is. Gateways like OpenRouter, Vercel and more help solve that problem by aggregating demand to you. May inference providers discount their tokens to get longer term commits too. I've even heard stories of selling back Chinese model tokens to Chinese labs! One thorn in the econo…
The perfect storm is frontier models finding obscure security vulnerabilities at breakneck pace while voice models become indecipherable from human speech. When a model hits a roadblock, it will just spoof Caller ID as your bank and call you, pretending to be your banker.
